Payments

We have a range of payment options available. You can choose to pay your course or seminar fees, a donation/koha, a payment for accommodation or staff fees online, please see the list of options below on how to do this. Or you can make a payment in cash or card in our reception office on base.

YWAM Matamata, Family Ministries NZ is a not for profit charitable trust. We are run by an amazing group of volunteer staff and trustees who want to see God's Kingdom advanced in New Zealand and to the ends of the earth. If you would like to make a donation  or payment to Family Ministries NZ please fill out the form below. We value and appreciate your prayers and support. 

All New Zealand donations/koha's over $20 are eligible for a donation tax receipt. Please email accounts@fm.org.nz with your details if you would like to get a donation receipt.

Family Ministries NZ – A Charitable Trust (CC37260)

Effective Date: 1 Jan 2025

Family Ministries NZ, registered as a charitable trust in New Zealand (Charity Number: CC37260), receives funds in the form of donations, fee payments, and invoice payments to support its ministry, training programs, and operational costs. By making a payment to Family Ministries NZ, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


Donations/
Koha

1. Donations/Koha, Voluntary Contributions

  • Donations to Family Ministries NZ are voluntary, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except as required by law.

  • Donations support Family Ministries’ programs, outreach efforts, training, and general operations.

  • Family Ministries NZ retains full discretion over the use and allocation of donated funds. Specified donations will used as specified by donor. 

Tax Deductibility

As a registered charitable trust in New Zealand (CC37260), donations may be eligible for a tax credit.

  • Official donation receipts are available upon request.

  • Donors should seek independent tax advice regarding eligibility for tax credits from overseas.

Refund Policy for Donations

  • Donations are non-refundable unless a refund is required by law.

  • If a donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate transaction or incorrect amount), a refund may be considered if requested within 14 days of the transaction.

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to accounts@fm.org.nz, including proof of payment.

Fee Payments (Training Programs, DTS, and Other Courses)

Payment Terms

  • Fees for Training Schools, DTS, FMS, LDC and other training programs must be paid in full according to the payment schedule set by Family Ministries NZ.

  • Payments may include lecture phase fees, outreach fees, accommodation, and other associated costs.

  • Payment plans may be available upon request and must be approved in advance.

Refund Policy for Training Program Fees

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

Before the Program Starts:

  • If a student withdraws before the start of the program for any reason, a refund may be issued minus a non-refundable deposit $500 NZD

After the Program Starts:

  • Lecture Phase: Fees are non-refundable once the program begins. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies), a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of the leadership team usually based on weeks attended and notice given. 

  • If a student is dismissed due to misconduct or failure to comply with YWAM values and expectations, no refunds will be issued.

  • Any costs associated with early departure (e.g., flight changes, travel expenses) are the responsibility of the student.

  • Outreach Phase: If a student withdraws or is dismissed before outreach begins, a refund of outreach fees may be considered, depending on expenses already incurred (e.g., flights, visas, accommodation).

Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding payments or refunds must be submitted in writing to accounts@fm.org.nz 

  • within 30 days of the transaction.

  • Family Ministries NZ will review disputes on a case-by-case basis and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • Family Ministries NZ reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

  • The most current version will be available upon request or on our website.
